TSL Ambiental Makes its Mark at the SOBENA Workshop on Vessel Revitalization

TSL Ambiental actively participated in the SOBENA Workshop on Vessel Revitalization, a highly relevant event for the Brazilian naval sector, held on April 29, 2026. The meeting brought together experts, authorities, and representatives of major companies to discuss the perspectives, challenges, and innovations in the process of modernizing and extending the lifespan of maritime assets.

Vessel revitalization, or retrofitting, is a central theme today, aiming at the modernization of ships, tugboats, offshore support vessels, and oil platforms. This process involves the incorporation of new technologies, equipment, and systems focused on improving performance, energy efficiency, safety, and sustainability. This practice is essential to meet the decarbonization goals of the shipbuilding industry, adapting older vessels to more stringent environmental standards, and offering a viable economic alternative compared to building new units.

During the event, TSL's Technical Director, Engineer Reimar Cruz, was one of the highlights of Panel 2, which addressed "The Logistics and Operational Chain". In his presentation, entitled "The Importance of Planning and Shutdowns in Maintenance during the Life Cycle of a Vessel", Eng. Reimar Cruz shared TSL's vast experience in managing maintenance and complex operations.

The presentation emphasized how strategic maintenance planning is crucial to ensuring reliability, safety, and operational efficiency throughout the entire lifecycle of vessels. TSL's approach reinforces the company's commitment to offering innovative and tailored solutions for high-risk operations, directly contributing to the sustainability and appreciation of its clients' assets.

The SOBENA Workshop provided a rich environment for qualified networking and knowledge exchange, consolidating TSL Ambiental's position as a strategic and specialized partner in engineering, maintenance, and environmental solutions for the Oil and Gas, Mining, and Steel industries. Participation in events of this magnitude reaffirms TSL's dedication to being at the forefront of technological and operational discussions in the market.
